How do I get the best results with Tilex® Fresh Shower®? Do I scrub?
No. After each shower simply mist Tilex® Fresh Shower® on the walls, door, shower curtain and floor — then walk away. Do not rinse, wipe or scrub. For best results, apply Tilex® Fresh Shower® immediately after showering, while the walls are warm and wet. The shower should drain and dry completely after application. Tilex® Fresh Shower® is less effective if walls are allowed to dry before use.
How does Tilex® Fresh Shower® work?
The two main ingredients in Tilex® Fresh Shower® are a mild chelating agent and a solvent. These ingredients work in a two-step process with the warm water from your shower to keep your shower clean.
Step 1: The solvent penetrates and loosens greasy soils.
Step 2: The chelating agent (a versatile cleaner) breaks down dirt and soap scum. In combination with the warm water from your shower, it then rinses the soils off your shower surfaces.
Should I clean the shower before using Tilex® Fresh Shower®?
It's best to start with a soil-free shower. That way, dirt, soap scum and bathroom soils won't have a chance to build up. If you start with a soiled shower, daily use of Tilex® Fresh Shower® will soften and loosen existing deposits over time. Your shower will be clean in two to four weeks. Should some deposits remain after four weeks of regular use, they will be soft enough to simply wipe away.
Is Tilex® Fresh Shower® safe for all surfaces?
Tilex® Fresh Shower® is safe for most shower surfaces including glazed tile, most fiberglass, plastic and acrylic, glazed porcelain, cultured (artificial) marble, terrazzo, glass shower doors and plastic shower curtains. Do not use Tilex® Fresh Shower® on natural stone or marble, brass, or any damaged or cracked surfaces.
Is Tilex® Fresh Shower® safe for my skin?
Yes. When used as recommended, you can use Tilex® Fresh Shower® every day for a fresh-smelling, sparkling clean shower without irritating your skin.
What ingredients does Tilex® Fresh Shower® contain?
Tilex® Fresh Shower® contains a surfactant for all-around cleaning power, a chelating agent that makes soap scum soluble, a solvent to penetrate and loosen greasy soil, an additional surfactant to suspend soil in water, as well as a pleasant scent.

Yes. Use Tilex® Fresh Shower® as recommended and it shouldn't pose any hazards to your household pets. Follow label precautionary instructions and as with many household cleaners, keep out of the reach of children and pets.
